Let me tell you about this incredible, everything-done-right micro wedding I painted in NYC. Being a live wedding painter in NYC, I get to go to some amazing venues. None of them has yet to top this unexpected micro wedding location; the Carlyle of the Rosewood Hotels. The Carlyle wedding was absolutley stunning. They used a suite with a parisian flare, so the bridal party had room to get ready and have privacy. The couple hired an expert wedding florist to come build an arbor on site, and flourish the already decorated room with floral accents and vases. D is a francophile and art-lover bride, so she hired a live painter (me) and pianist to up the class and elegant atmosphere. There was even an Eiffel Tower statue displayed on the piano, glistening in the candlelight. The perfect microwedding setup was basically a short ceremony followed by a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The couple invited 25 of their closest friends and family and included their three daughters in the ceremony, each with a different pink dress. This is the best NYC microwedding location I have seen! The Carlyle did an excellent job at the hotel suite wedding setup.
