What is live event painting?
Live painting is when an artist paints at an event while the guests can watch. Often it is at a wedding, but it can be any event.
Will I get the painting at the end of the night?
No. I take the work home to frame it for you and so you can proof it before it's finalized. That way you know you'll LOVE the final painting.

Can you paint other people or crowds?
My paintings are designed to make the couple the main focus, so I do not paint crowds as they are visually busy and distract from the couple. I can add additional portraits, and they are $200 per person.
Can you make a painting from a picture?
Yes! This is called a ‘studio commission. In many cases there will be more refined detail in a studio commission because there isn’t the pressure to work quickly. All I need is photographs of the event.
Do I tip a live painter?

This one is completely up to you! It is customary to tip vendors ~10%, but I do not expect it. A rave review is also a great way to say thanks.
Will you travel internationally or to destination weddings?
Yes! I love doing destination weddings and have a system set for traveling with artwork. Ask about my discounted travel rates for Italy, Greece, and Spain.
How much does a live wedding painting cost?
My packages start at $4,000 for an 18x24" and go up as the canvas size goes up.
This price includes a frame, 6 hours of painting, travel within 2 hours, 2 rounds of edits, and shipping.
When do I pay for a live painting?
I have a three payment system of equal payments, starting at booking with a booking fee, and balance is due one month ahead of the event. I take credit card, Zelle, and Venmo.
Can you add my dogs and cats?
Yes! No problem. When you book, please send me a photo
of your fur babies so I can practice.
